2 Beach layouts and a Book Of Me page from Laura

Good morning!
Laura here....
when I received the awesome  'Blue Skies & Sunshine' kit I knew that it would be perfect for a beach layout!

I love the motion of the Kaisercraft background paper and the blues are fabulous!

I used some Kaisercraft die cuts for accents and the title!

Our boys were so little there....I decided to change the photos to black and white to add more visual interest and contrast!  I also used one of the Kaisercraft stickers on the side

In the kit is this awesome circle chipboard that I embossed with Lindy's stamp gang embossing powder from a previous kit and then added the blue shards of glitter glass from this kit.  I tucked in some die cuts, flowers from the floral add on and previous kits and a seashell from my stash.

My next layout using the Darkness 'Blue Skies & Sunshine' kit is also the beach....The beach is my happy place!

I used the Kaisercraft Indigo skies for this layout.  I started by distressing the edges of my paper and then layering them

I painted the Blue Fern Chipboard circle with the Prima Alchemy paint then add the Ice Resin in spots.  Then I added the die cut title!

I created the flower cluster with flowers from the floral add on, and previous kit flowers and my stash.  I also added some gems from a previous kit and some shells from my stash.

My final project using the 'Blue Skies and Sunshine' Scraps Of Darkness kit.
My family recently had our photos done - we try to this every year - by my niece Jill at Breaultography and this was one of the photos.
I don't do a lot of pages about me, it is usually me and the boys or me and my hubby but I am really trying to create more projects about me so my grandchildren and future generations will know a bit about me.

I created this one using the Bo Bunny Petal Lane papers!

I placed the wonderful Blue Fern frame on my photo and traced it so I could trim my photo to fit.  I simply embossed the frame with black embossing powder

I used flowers from the kit, floral add on and from previous kits

I did a small title I think fits!

Thanks for stopping by!
